One Scholar, One Day: Jackie Valles '19

By the time she reached her senior year, scholarship recipient Jackie Valles ’19 was well-known across campus for her work leading the Latin American Student Union. Most recently, she played a central role in organizing William & Mary’s first-ever Latinx Graduation Ceremony, Ceremonia Raíces [Roots], where she also offered moving remarks to fellow students.
