Traffic will be heavy on and around campus. We recommend that you allow extra time for driving and parking throughout the day. It is best to walk as much as possible.
*Shuttles will run on a continuous loop from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Parking Restrictions
We recommend parking at either the Kaplan Arena parking lot located on Compton Drive or at the parking garage located on Ukrop Way. Parking assistants will be stationed throughout the area to assist you with parking and directions.
No parking is permitted at any time in the following areas:
- Fire lanes
- No parking zones
- Accessible space (must have proper permits)
- "Reserved for" spaces
- "Official vehicle" or service/vendor spaces
- Grass or sidewalks
Off-Campus Parking
Please remember that parking on off-campus streets (including Richmond Road) is controlled by the City of Williamsburg. City street parking is enforced via color-coded resident decals and time limits. Visitors should pay attention to all campus and city signs related to parking restrictions.
