W&M Board of Visitors to Meet

The William & Mary Board of Visitors will meet in Williamsburg on February 5-7, 2025. The purpose of the meetings is to conduct regular business of the Board.

Committee meetings will be held between 11 a.m. and 5:30 pm on Wednesday February 5 in Blow Memorial Hall, located at 262 Richmond Rd.  Committee meetings will occur in Room 302 of Blow Memorial Hall and in the Grimsley Board Room on the second floor of Blow Hall. At 6:30 p.m. on February 5, the Board will attend a dinner in the Kelley Boardroom of the Alumni House, located at 500 Richmond Rd.

On Thursday Feb. 6, committee meetings will resume at 9 a.m., in the Grimsley Board Room of Blow Memorial Hall and will conclude with a 10:45 a.m. meeting of the full Board to discuss business involving Richard Bland College.  At 3 p.m., the Board will convene in a joint meeting held in Chesapeake A&B of the Sadler Center, located at 200 Stadium Drive. The W&M Board of Visitors will be joined by the W&M Foundation Board of Trustees, the Alumni Association Board of Directors and the Annual Giving Board of Directors. At 6 p.m., the Board will attend a ceremony and reception for the Martha Wren Briggs Center for the Visual Arts Dedication in the Glen Close Theater at Phi Beta Kappa Hall and the Muscarelle Museum of Art, located at 601 and 603 Jamestown Rd. respectively.

On Friday Feb. 7, the full Board will convene in the Grimsley Board Room of Blow Memorial Hall at 9:30 a.m. and the meeting should conclude by 11:15 a.m. The Board will then have lunch with members of the W&M Cypher Society, in Room 302 of Blow Memorial Hall. The meeting of the full Board in the Grimsley Board Room will be live streamed on the Board of Visitors webpage at www.wm.edu/bovmeeting.   Many Board members will participate in the Charter Day Ceremony and related events scheduled on February 7-8.
