W&M Board of Visitors to Meet
The William & Mary Board of Visitors will meet on the William & Mary campus in Williamsburg, Virginia, on September 24-26. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct regular business of the Board.
Committee meetings will begin on Wednesday, September 24, at 2:30 p.m., in Room 302 of Blow Memorial Hall, located at 262 Richmond Rd. Committee meetings are anticipated to end for the day at 5 p.m. At approximately 6:30 p.m., the Board will attend a dinner hosted by the Rector in the Kaplan Gallery of the Alumni House, located at 500 Richmond Rd.
On Thursday Sept. 25, committee meetings will resume in Blow Memorial Hall at 8:45 a.m. Meetings will be held in Room 302 and in the Grimsley Boardroom on the second floor. Morning sessions will end by 12:15 p.m. At approximately 12:30 p.m., the Board will attend lunch with members of the President’s Cabinet in Hunter Hall of the Alumni House, located at 500 Richmond Rd. Committee meetings will resume at 1:45 p.m., in Blow Memorial Hall and are scheduled to end for the day at 3:15 p.m. At approximately 4 p.m., the Board will meet in the Blue Room of the Sir Christopher Wren Building, located at 111 Jamestown Rd., for the recitation of the Board pledge and annual member photo, followed by a Topping Out Ceremony in the Wren Yard. At 6:30 p.m., the Board will attend a reception and dinner for retired board members in the President’s Suite of Zable Stadium, located at 100 Stadium Drive.
On Friday, Sept. 26, committee meetings will resume at 8:45 a.m. in the Grimsley Boardroom of Blow Hall. A meeting of the full Board will begin at 10:30 a.m., with meetings scheduled to conclude for the day at 12:30 p.m.
All times are approximate, and the Board reserves the right to adjust its schedule as necessary. The meetings are open to the public, but there will be no opportunity for public comments. The Friday meeting of the full Board will also be live streamed on the Board of Visitors webpage at www.wm.edu/bovmeeting.
