Dear William & Mary community,

The university’s Williamsburg campus will be open Monday, January 13. Employees should report to work as normally scheduled.

Thanks to the terrific work of our Facilities Management colleagues, campus is accessible with parking lots and walkways in good shape. Due to cold temperatures overnight, there may be some slick spots in the morning so please still use caution.

Jan. 10, 2025 – 10:30 a.m.

Dear William & Mary community,

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Williamsburg area Friday night into Saturday. Due to a forecast of freezing temperatures and the potential for snow accumulation, normal campus operation and all university events for Saturday, Jan. 11 will be delayed until noon.

The university will remain on a normal operating schedule Friday.

Saturday’s men’s basketball game at Kaplan Arena at 2 p.m. will remain scheduled as planned. Monitor William & Mary Athletics social media channels for any updates.

EMT will continue to monitor the weather forecast. As always, if you are heading out in these conditions, please use caution.
