Power restored on campus
The William & Mary Emergency Management Team sent the following messages to the campus community on June 24, 2025. – Ed.
1:52 p.m.
Dear William & Mary community,
Power has been restored to all buildings with temporary measures. However, there will be a planned outage of no more than 15 minutes later this afternoon for Dominion Power to make a permanent fix. Because of the heat, people in affected buildings are still encouraged to take precautionary measures, to include working from home, in coordination with supervisors.
Dinner service will operate out of the Food Hall @ Sadler as originally scheduled.
Thank you to the university’s Facilities Management team for working hard to keep the HVAC units running during this heat.
